The Ukulele Place To Meet And Greet!

performed at my cousin's wedding recently. it kinda gets cookin' at about 1:54, after my flailing attempts to hit the high notes.

At least my Fender Pai'ina uke sounded good!

For you gear heads, the ukulele's plugged into a BOSS Compressor/Sustainer Pedal routed through a BOSS Tremolo pedal.

For those who are interested, the CD "Terry Lin Classics ('89-'96)" album is available for download right now at: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002UXGWZM/ref=cm_cr_mts_prod_img

It will be available for download in a few weeks on iTunes, Rhapsody, Limewire and Napster.

It includes a classic cover version of Bob Marley and the Wailers' "So Much Trouble in the World" produced by and performed with Reggae Legend and last surviving original Wailer Bunny Wailer.

The album also features South African musicians from the Broadway hit, "Amandla" as well.

Frankie Knuckles, legendary "Godfather of House Music" lent his golden touch to the proceedings, and many previously unreleased songs are featured as well. Enjoy!

Hey Bart, thanks for the nice comment!

I was originally going to just plug the uke straight into the mixer, but the compressor pedal helped to smooth things out a bit and added a little extra sustain--which helped during the solo section--while the tremolo pedal gave it a nice twangy vibe!
