- The old Harmony uke that I borrowed from "2-Gun" Terry to use in Marcy's workshop at Mars Hill and her Enoch banjo uke that I got to play in a banjo orchestra at Mars Hill.

- My Musical Biography
- I've been playing clawhammer banjo for almost 30 years. I have been a long-time member of 2 local bands, The Port Road String band and The Highlander String Band. I also provide live sound and have recorded and produced one cd, Old Virginia, for Phyllis Gaskins (noter-style dulcimer player from The Highlander String Band.)
