Yesterday's ukulele meet up at Appalachian Bluegrass was fabulous! I had a great time - even learned how to play a little slide ukulele :) Thanks to all my super talented new friends that joined us for the event!
It was a total blast! We could not have asked for a better day - new friends, beautiful weather and ukulele! Thanks for leading the group and I am super excited for many more club meetings. YEAH!
*I'm* not the organizer, personally - just helping out the guys at ABG Shoppe. Things have been too quiet around Catonsville lately anyway. We need to bring some uke action and bring back the energy around here :)
What I know I lack in the vocals I try and make up in the strumming and picking. In fact that's why I've always considered myself a rhythm guitar player and never a lead player. That way it's more about havin fun. ;-) >>>
Hi Christina, I don't know any Christophe Lemarchand, but you know, this is a really common name here, especially in the North-West. Sure this boy is awesome, with such a name :)
Songs I like to play ? humm... There's a lot, but at the moment, a personal composition :
Great - keep me posted. I look forward to meeting the Baltimore Uke crowd. I also get to Nashville once a month and play with the Nashville Ukulele Society. Check out their site - I'm sure Andy Hudson can give you some pointers. He's also on Ukulele Social Club.
Thanks Christina - im just getting started, but having a great time playing. I would _totally_ be up for a group here in baltimore if you got something started. PLEASE let me know... and count me in!
